About

Barbara Hanson is an independent Long-Term Care Insurance Agent, residing in Felton, California. A nationally recognized expert in planning for the cost of long-term care, she is consulted regularly on this subject by individuals, organizations, businesses, financial planners, elder law attorneys, and health care executives. Since 1995 Barbara has been helping families in California protect their hard-earned savings and financial independence from the costs of long-term care. In a caring and supportive way, she opens the eyes of her clients to the needs we all face should we become unable to take care of ourselves.

Over 90% of her clients who have needed to make a claim due to illness or injury have been able to stay in their own homes. The rest are in assisted living and one was in a nursing home for four years due to a severe and irreversible health problem. Several have been on claim at home more than 3 months and have recovered their health. A couple clients have needed long term care services three separate times a piece. Recuperation is more likely than death today, so Long-Term Care insurance is vital to helping you pay for your health needs while remaining at home.

Testimonials

Barbara continually inspires me and regularly teaches me. She isn’t just the consummate long-term care insurance professional, she just gives and gives without ever asking for or expecting anything in return. Of the million insurance professionals who come and go in this business, she is definitely ONE IN A MILLION and I am so very grateful to know her and have the ability to turn to her.
